International Awards
Every year, Phi Gamma Delta meets nationally to award FIJI chapters across the nation awards for their outstanding achievements.
Gamma Tau did very well in fraternity awards and honorable mentions for 2009-2010 at the 162th Ekklesia held in Phoenix, Arizona. Awards/Honorable Mentions include:
- 24 straight years of Chapter proficiency
- 28 straight years above the All Men's Grade Point Average
- Jordan Bowl - Presented to the chapter having the highest comparative scholarship.
- Baker Cup - Presented to the chapter who has excelled in religious, ethical, and social service activities the most.
- Zerman Trophy - Awarded to the undergraduate chapter which excels in promoting the involvement of brothers in student government, the campus newspaper, and extracurricular activities.
- Brightman Trophy - Awarded to the chapter that best demonstrates that "Phi Gamma Delta is not for college days alone" by maintaining and improving relations between the chapter and the graduate brothers.
- Coon Plaque- Awarded to the undergraduate chapter that has produced the best chapter publication for the preceding academic year.
Campus Awards
Gamma Tau maintained its reputation on campus as one of the best fraternities, not only in scholarship, but in service and on the field as well.
Recent awards include:
- Dean Dull Award - Presented to the best overall fraternity (2010, 2007, 2005)
- 1st Place in Philanthropy
- 1st Place in Athletics (13 of past 14 years)
- 2nd Place in Leadership
- 2nd Place in Academics (3.22 GPA)
