Gamma Tau: Brotherhood
Brotherhood

The Brotherhood position at FIJI has various responsibilities with the main goal to enhance the overall camaraderie of the fraternity. We do this by holding various events which allow the brothers to interact with each other on a weekly basis. One of our major events is FIJI Dinner Club. Every Friday night the Brotherhood chairs decide on a restaurant to eat at, and the Fraternity collectively eats together, always inviting girls to come along. It's a great way to start the weekend.

Another major event on the Brotherhood calendar is our annual Phi Week. Phi week is one of the most special weeks to be a FIJI. For one week in the spring semester the entire Fraternity competes in various competition in ordered to be crowned the winning pledge class in the house. The teams are split up according to pledge class and competitions include flag football, a softball tournament, a wing-eating contest, and a trivia night. There are also various points awarded for attendance to intramural games and study hall along with high test grades.

These are just a few of the many events that the Brotherhood chairs put together. Many events are impromptu and really do augment the overall essence of Brotherhood in the house.

Sincerely,
Nishik Naik & Joaquin Reyes
Brotherhood Chairmen
