Patrick Darsey
Patrick Darsey was born and raised 3 hours south in Albany, Georgia. He is currently a 4th year student majoring in Industrial Engineering.
On the Georgia Tech campus, Patrick has served on various organizations, with his main commitment to the Georgia Tech Student Foundation, serving the organization on the Board of Trustees as Vice President and IT Chairman.
Inside of Phi Gamma Delta, Patrick has previously served as the Promotional and Social chairman. This year, he has the privilege of serving the Chapter as Treasurer for a second term. Outside of the finances, he serves as the Cabinet liaison for the Promotional, Social, House and Grounds, and Technology committees. Though Patrick has had the opportunity to engage in organizations around campus, he claims that the Fraternity has and always will be the cornerstone of his college experience. Not only has it provided a social outlet from the day to day grind of Georgia Tech, but it has led to leadership skills and life lessons that can never be taught in a classroom.
Outside of class, he enjoys intramural sports, watching Georgia Tech athletics, and socializing with friends. Patrick was a co-op for two semesters, where he worked at a mechanical engineering firm here in Atlanta. Last Spring he had an internship at Smith Barney and plans on interning for a consulting firm during the summer of 2009 with hopes of a similar career post graduation. |
