The spring semester greats Gamma Tau with an array of festivities. It is kicked off with the Purple Garter Formal where FIJI's escape the challenges of GT academics and travel to exciting locations such as New Orleans, Charleston, and Savannah. While these three days offer little opportunity for rest, they promise some of the most memorable times of your college experience. The spring semester is highlighted by our annual Island Party, the biggest party on Tech's campus. The weeks consists of band parties, a crush party, a date night, and a mixer. The backyard is transformed into a tropical paradise and impressive bands such as Az-IzZ, High Tide Blues, and Eleven perform on our wooden stage.

The fall semester is kicked off with our annual Bid Day Party. All the girls of Georgia Tech join the Brothers and new pledges as buses come to and from Georgia Tech and celebrate the beginning of a new school year. The fall semester also includes the annual Black Diamond Semi-Formal, as FIJI's and their dates enjoy an amazing evening of dancing and camaraderie. The Fall is also home to many band parties and an amazing Halloween Party. Following Halloween Party, is a weekend of relaxation as Brothers and dates travel to North Georgia to enjoy a glorious weekend of partying at a mountain getaway. Striving to keep a packed social calendar all year, the semester also includes mixers and date nights to make sure there is never a dull moment at FIJI.
